Our Students
Blossom Park has an enrolment of approximately 380 students from junior kindergarten to grade 8. Our students represent a diversity of languages and cultures representing over 30 countries. When our students graduate from Blossom Park Public School, they continue onwards to Ridgemont High School or Ottawa Technical Secondary School.
Our Staff
Blossom Park Public School has a dedicated and caring staff who work hard to provide our students with the best possible learning environment. The staff consists of full- and part-time teachers, the Principal, the Vice-Principal, the office staff, custodians, early childhood educators, educational assistants, a Multicultural Liaison Officer, a library technician, lunch monitors and breakfast club coordinators, all of whom work together for the benefit of our students.
Our Community
The Blossom Park School Council consists of dedicated parents/guardians and community volunteers who work closely with school staff to enrich the education of our students and strengthen community partnerships. Council meetings provide a forum in which parents can influence the education of their children by sharing their ideas and concerns. We actively fund-raise and organize school activities that contribute to the positive school climate and help make Blossom Park a happy place to go to school. We welcome parent and community volunteers who help in the classroom, read with students and accompany students on field trips.
Mission Statement
At Blossom Park, we believe that educating our students is a responsibility shared with parents, students and the wider community. Hence our motto: Education: A Shared Responsibility
